About NAWIRI
Women- and youth-led. Rooted in feminist values. Building rights, health, and justice for girls and women across Africa.
NAWIRI is a women- and youth-led organization advancing the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), mental health, and safety of adolescent girls and young women across Africa, beginning in Kenya. Rooted in feminist values and lived experience, we work to dismantle the systemic inequalities that prevent girls and young women from exercising their rights, making informed choices, and reaching their full potential.
We believe every girl and young woman deserves to live free from violence, stigma, and discrimination. Through community engagement, advocacy, research, storytelling, and technology, we expand access to rights-based information and quality services, challenge harmful social norms, and influence policies that create lasting change.
At NAWIRI, young people are not just beneficiaries — they are leaders, advocates, and changemakers shaping healthier, safer, and more equitable communities.
Our Vision
